SAYMA welcomes both unrestricted contributions and contributions for a specified set of purposes. Checks should be made out to SAYMA and mailed to:

Unrestricted Contributions
If the purpose of a contribution is not specified by the donor, it is assumed to be unrestricted. Unrestricted contributions go into SAYMA's General Fund. DONATE ONLINE
Donor-Restricted Contributions
SAYMA accepts donor-restricted contributions for the following purposes:
- FWCC 3rd World Delegates: To support the participation of Friends from Third World Countries in international and Section of the Americas gatherings of the Friends World Committee for Consultation. DONATE ONLINE
- FWCC World Conference: To support the participation of SAYMA delegates in international gatherings of the Friends World Committee for Consultation. DONATE ONLINE
- Racial Conflict Transformation: To accept grants, donations, and registration fees to support the ongoing work of Racial Conflict Transformation. DONATE ONLINE
- Released Friends: To provide financial support for individuals called to specific ministries. DONATE ONLINE
- SAYF: To support SAYMA's Southern Appalachian Young Friends program. DONATE ONLINE
- Spiritual Development: To support spiritual development opportunities such as workshops and gatherings, for individuals serving SAYMA. DONATE ONLINE
- Uplifting Racial Justice: To support the mission, vision, and goals of SAYMA's Uplifting Racial Justice work. DONATE ONLINE
- Young Adult Friends Scholarships: To provide need-based scholarships for SAYMA's Young Adult Friends activities and for national and international Quaker activities that are appropriate for Young Adult Friends. DONATE ONLINE
- Youth Enrichment: To support the attendance of SAYF participants and other SAYMA teens in gatherings of youth from across the Quaker spectrum. DONATE ONLINE
SAYMA accepts donor-restricted contributions on condition that the restriction will last a maximum of 10 years from the time of the donation. If the donated funds remain unspent after that period, SAYMA may at its discretion re-purpose the funds. To ensure that donor intentions are followed for the 10-year period, contributions for each of the listed purposes are accounted for in separate donor-restricted funds. Donor-restricted funds are spent before funds for the same purpose that have been designated by SAYMA.
The donor may specify the purpose of a donor-restricted contribution in one of four ways:

SAYMA's Tax Status
SAYMA meets the IRS definition of a church under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. Donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Contributions from IRAs
Contributions made directly to SAYMA from a traditional IRA can be counted toward satisfying required minimum distributions for the year. Please notify
