- offers an amazing selection of workshops and speakers,
- way less expensive to attend (with options),
- lower carbon footprint for all involved,
- accessible to many more Friends across the US and Canada,
- longer with more schedule flexibility,
- time and spaces to form interest groups,
- more manageable for staff than a hybrid gathering.
The plan is to alternate a virtual Gathering with the in-person Gathering every other year.
Each year there will be an in-person YAY Gathering in July for Young Adults and Youth.
